Dr. Parvati Halbe

Dr. Parvati Halbe completed her MBBS in 1992 and M.D. Pediatrics in 1997 from Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

Work Experience:
She is working as a “Consultant Pediatrician” from last 12 years, practicing the outdoor and inpatients consultation.
She is having 6 years of experience in ‘’Neonatal Intensive Care Unit’’.
She is also working for H.I.V. affected orphans in Manavya institute for last 10 years.
Other Experience:
Working as a lecturer for DCH students at the Shankar Institute / Bhide Hospital.
Weekly visiting faculty to Manavya (Shelter for HIV positive orphans) at Matalwadi, Bhugaon, Paud Road.
Special interests:
Adolescence guidance clinic every week. Taking workshops for groups of adolescents and their parents regarding social and curricular problems.
Member of BPNI (Breast-feeding Promotion Network of India) convincing and creating awareness of importance of breast feeding in mothers.
She is working as a Consultant Pediatrician for Krishna General Hospital and Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital.
Her services are available to Krishna General Hospital: Monday to Saturday 5 p.m. to 7p.m.
