He completed his DNB in 1988 & FAIS, FICS in 1992.
He worked as a lecturer in surgery in B.J.Medical college for 10 years.
In 1998 he was selected as honorary associate professor of surgery in BJMC.
He is a recognized post graduate teacher in Sassoon hospital. Around 18 students have completed their post graduation under his guidance.
He has been examiner in surgery for MBBS & MS examination at various universities. He has presented many Papers at National and International conferences.
He is one of the few to start laparoscopic surgery in 1996. He has performed more than 4000 laparoscopic surgeries so far. He was one of the pioneers to start minimally invasive stapler surgery of piles.
He is a Chairman & Managing Director of Shashwat Group of Hospitals
The group consists of three hospitals: Shashwat Hospital, Krishna Hospital and Sanjeevan Hospital.
His services are available at Krishna General hospital on all week days between 10 AM To 11AM.
He is a Panel Consultant at various Hospitals in Pune.
